Meet Sommer House
I've always been drawn to the way people come together.
For me, wine was the beginning. At 21, I started pouring on California's Central Coast and quickly realized that what I loved most wasn't just the wine — it was everything around it. The conversations, the tables, the people, the feeling of being welcomed somewhere and wanting to stay a little longer.
That curiosity followed me everywhere. At Cal Poly, I created Rock the Vine, a senior project that brought together boutique local winemakers for a craft wine market. I traveled and lived abroad exploring wine regions and the ways different cultures gather around food and wine. Back on the Central Coast, I worked in hospitality, events, and sales for a family-owned luxury winery in Paso Robles before moving into experiential marketing, producing large-scale events and consumer experiences for the corporate wine world.
Each chapter gave me a different perspective on what makes an experience work — from the first idea to the final guest interaction. But more importantly, it showed me how much I love creating spaces where people feel connected.
I started Sommer House because I wanted to bring all of those experiences together in a way that felt more personal. A place to create beautiful, thoughtful weddings and gatherings — and to help wineries and hospitality brands create experiences that make their own guests feel genuinely welcomed.
Whether I'm planning a wedding, producing a wine dinner, or working alongside a hospitality team, I'm always chasing the same thing: that feeling when everything comes together, the room feels just right, and people simply enjoy being there.
